"First Aid For The Heart"

One of our recent 5 filters to view the scriptures by was "GRACE." Today we'll begin a 3 part series on where to find grace.  This in no way will be an exhaustive look, but simply a small introduction which will hopefully springboard you into a wonderful and lasting adventure.

Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

1) At the throne of grace where we boldly come!

How wonderfully blessed to know that it is a throne of grace.  It is not a throne of judgement. It is not a throne of condemnation.  It is not a throne of shame.  It is a throne of grace where we find help in time of need!  So go boldly before the Father and Our Glorious Lord, in praise and adoration, and there you will find grace in time of need.

Grace in the Greek is "khar'-ece: graciousness, and, divine influence on the heart.  We have known grace to be unmerited or undeserved favor, and it certainly is to the praise of God.  Grace is also the divine influence of God upon our heart.  A most important aspect because we are told in Romans 10:10 "with the heart man believeth," and Mark 11:24 "therefore when you stand praying, believe that you receive and you shall have."  All things are possible to those who believe, grace is the supernatural influence on the heart to help us believe.  So remember, to find grace, go to the throne.
