Religion commands you to love God. God desires for you to know how much He loves you! When you know that love, a life of thankfulness and servitude becomes a reflexive response and never a work!

Ephesians 2 “4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

Ephesians 3 “19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

1 John 4 “10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Psalm 139 “17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.”

I love you all very much! (NLM)
