Matthew 5 “20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” WOW what a statement! How could a mans righteousness exceed that of a Pharisee? Actually it's quite simple and easy. Theirs was a righteousness attained through performance under the law. Under that system there is none righteous no not one Psalm 14:3.

The only true way to righteousness revealed!

Romans 3 "22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:"

Romans 5 "17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 ¶ Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."

Philippians 1 "11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God."

True righteousness that surpasses the righteousness of "The Religious" is received by faith believing in Jesus. It is His righteousness, a gift which produces fruits in the life of the believer. So you can do, or you can be. BELIEVE RIGHT AND YOU WILL LIVE RIGHT! I love you all very much!(NLM)
