What was THEE WILL of the Father for Jesus?

Exodus 19 “8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.”

The people arrogantly asked for the law!

1 Samuel 8 “6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. 7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.”

The people demanded a king!

So what was the Fathers ultimate will for Jesus?

Hebrews 10 “7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

The Fathers will For Jesus was to establish the covenant of GRACE! Through Gods amazing Grace He could now rule us from His Heart! We now always find ourselves before Gods Grace where we obtain Mercy and receive Grace in our every time of need. Never getting what we do deserve, always getting what we don’t deserve!
