Last night I started meditating on some scriptures before turning in for the night. ( Or beginning of my day lol. Remember Genesis tells us there was “EVENING” and there was “MORNING” which made a day. Indicating God wants us to start each day from a place of rest.) A great way to fall asleep. So here goes:

John 3 “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This tells us that Jesus was Gods only son.  But oh things change!

Romans 8 “29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Colossians 1 “15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:”

Colossians 1 “18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

1 John 3 “1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

John 1 “12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

Now because of the new birth, the new creation, being born again, born from above, being born of God, YOU ARE A SON OF GOD THROUGH FAITH BELIEVING IN JESUS! Scripture now tells us where Jesus was once the only begotten Son of God, He is now the “FIRSTBORN” among many! Maybe it’s time you started looking at yourself differently!
