Have you ever wondered why? Why did Paul have to deal with such things?

2 Corinthians 11 “23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;”

Prison! Five times whipped by the Jews! Three times beaten with rods! Stoned and left for dead! Why Paul, why were such things done to you?

Here’s why!

Galatians 2 “21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”

Romans 5 “1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

Romans 10 “10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

2 Corinthians 5 “21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Paul preached righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ! By believing not by doing! JESUS DID THE DOING, WE DO THE BELIEVING! I love you all very much!(NLM)
