Sink Into Him!

Ephesians 4 “22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” What amazing verses! Paul tells us exactly how the old man who is dead and buried is put off.
1) Recognize the old man is dead and was dealt with!
2) Renew your mind to the new man you are in Christ!
3) Put off by "PUTTING ON" the new man who after Christ is righteous and holy!
Put on, hmmmm. In the Greek it means "sink into." On a hot day remember how you entered a pool and simply sunk into the cooling and refreshing water, with no work or effort? Remember how at the end of your day you sink into your favorite couch or chair and relax, rest, and unwind, with no effort? That's exactly how you put on Christ. Relax, rest, and take comfort in Him who is your righteousness and holiness and you will be transformed effortlessly!
