He Will NEVER Fail Us!

Religion frequently gets things wrong, very wrong! For example here is a verse used as a hammer to shape the children of God. It reads and is proclaimed by religion that if you deny the Lord you better be sure He will deny you! (Remember a guy name Peter?)
2 Timothy 2 “11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”
Here’s a news flash; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE US! Hebrews 13:5.
Here’s how to better interpret 2 Timothy 2:11-13; 11 The logic of God endorses our faith: we were included in his death and are therefore equally included in his resurrection. 2: 12 Sufferings do not distract us; neither do they contradict our joint position with him in the throne room, the Christ-life rules. If we contradict ourselves (behave unlike ourselves), he will contradict us and prove us wrong! (The word 1arneomai for deny means to contradict.) 2: 13 Our unbelief does not change what God believes; he cannot contradict himself!
