1 John 2 “5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”
Keep His word does not mean "perform His word!"
Keep means-tay-reh'-o; from τηρός (a watch; perhaps akin to (2334) (θεωρέω)); to guard (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon;
You guard His word and keep watch over it in your heart AND THE WIRD IN YOU WILL PRODUCE THE LOVE OF GOD IN YOU! It's all about God, not us, making this new covenant FAULT PROOF! I love you all very much!(NLM)
