He became what He was not! He took and He bore! The great exchange!

2 Corinthians 5 “21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

1 Peter 2 “22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”

1 John 3 “5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”

Matthew 8 “17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses”

1 Peter 2 “24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Romans 6 “4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

John 10 10“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

If I asked you what you could do to help God remove your sins, what would you say? Be a better person? Try a little harder? Perform acts of kindness? Give to the poor? Donate your time to worth while causes? Fast, pray, weep at the alter? No! No! No! With the heart we believe and with the mouth we confess. So if we KNOW we don’t help God when it comes to sins forgiven, WHY DO WE BELIEVE WE MUST HELP HIM WHEN IT COMES TO HEALING? “Food for Thought.”

I love you all very much!(NLM)
