John 12:49 “49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.”
Jesus only said what the Father said! Perhaps that’s why:Mark 1 “22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.”
Perhaps if we only speak what the Father would speak we too would have words of authority!
