We are so connected to this world. Look at the car we drive, the house we live in, the job I have, the vacation I took my family on. Then there’s how far my child can hit a baseball, how fast they can run, how smart they are, how beautiful.  How well we know how to operate as Americans. We know how 401Ks work, IRAs, how much to contribute, when to withdraw. We know what age we can drive, vote, purchase alcohol. We know our rights, our freedoms, for speech, privacy, to bear arms, for health coverage. We know how to “operate” in this kingdom and also know how to spiritualize it and say “oh how God has blessed!” But how many of us know how to operate in our true kingdom, with all our true kingdom rights? For Paul makes this most clear:

Colossians 1 “12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom[*] and forgave our sins.”

Perhaps this is why John tells us;
1 John
15 ¶ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Now hear me right, all I’m saying is to know the kingdom you are true citizens of and allow the Holy Spirit to show and lead you into experiencing life in it!

I love you all very much!(NLMm
