HEART

First mention OT
Genesis 6 “5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” - This first mention tells us the importance of the “heart” and its thoughts and imaginations in producing the fruit of ones life.

First mention NT
Matthew 5 “8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” - This first mention in the New Testament shows the importance of the “heart” in seeing God, or as God sees.  

Proverbs 4 “20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Heart = fruits of life.

Luke 6 “45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” - This shows us that before we have we first have it in our “heart!”

Mark 10:28 THE EARTH (Heart)PRODUCES OF ITSELF!

Romans 10 “10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Last night alone on my sons porch with nothing but 100’s of fireflies to light the sky,  Holy Spirit helped me see my heart. He did not bring condemnation, guilt or shame. He did bring encouragement that as I continued to respond to grace, continued to guard my heart, continued to receive good and right seeds, that I would be pleased with the fruit of this life. He then assured me that Dad was already pleased.

So, keep your heart, keep Your Garden well dressed, AS IT WILL ALWAYS PRODUCE OF ITSELF!
