SHIFT HAPPENS
Romans 8 “14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”
I never enjoyed driving a standard transmission car, especially in heavy stop and go traffic. Foot off the gas, foot on the clutch, shift to a different gear, foot off the clutch and foot back on the gas. So much work! But in order to arrive at your destination shifting is often necessary.
Thank God for automatic transmissions. Most people don’t even know when the shifting is taking place.
We can work at shifting or we can be led by the Spirit. To be led by the Spirit will bring automatic shifting, effortless change, and cause you to arrive at Gods destination with you asking, “HOW’D I GET HERE :)?”
