Today I’ll be taking a slight detour from the recent norm of daily texts based on Sunday’s message.  Many are so confused regarding the word of God.  The reason I believe is in the hearing.

“And He was saying to them, "Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭NASB‬‬

For example, I listened to a trusted man of God say “It’s very hard and extremely difficult for a rich man to be saved!” He sighted “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:25‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Wow! What hope does a rich man have.  If I’m rich then it’s extremely difficult and near impossible for me to be saved! And. In your witnessing to a rich man you’ll be convinced going in it’s near impossible for the rich to be saved!

However, is that truly what Jesus said? Was there more? Was there an explanation that correctly sheds light on a rich man and being saved? Yes! And we see it in “And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Trust in riches and not in God makes a huge difference! The point? Be careful what you hear. Challenge what you hear. Go to the word and read verses in context. Cross reference it with other similar scriptures. And. Always use your grace filter!

Remember it’s about the measure by which you hear, knowing your belief system, right or wrong, good or bad, will produce your life’s fruit! I love you all very much!(NLM)
