GRACE COMES BY REVELATION
2 Peter 1
“1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge (epi-nosis; intimate knowledge) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
3. Always a revelation of who Jesus is and then the provision!
Ephesians 1:17, John 9:1-7 “The Light Of The World!”, John 11:25 “Resurrection And The Life!” , John 6:48 “Bread Of Life!”, John 4:14 “The LIVING WATER!”
This is what the “INSPIRATION” of the entirety of the word of God is all about. It’s all about Jesus. It all points to Jesus. It’s all about the revelation of faith in Jesus for salvation. Remember that when you see Jesus, intimately know Him, grace is revealed allowing you to partake in the divine nature, given ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness!
2 Timothy 3 “15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for proofing, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
