GRACE COMES BY REVELATION 

2 Peter 1

“1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge (epi-nosis; intimate knowledge) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

2. Always a revelation of righteousness before like precious faith! (2 Peter 1:1)  Romans 1:16, Romans 4:25, Romans 5:1, Romans 5:17, Romans 10:6 & 10, Galatians

It’s vital to understand the connection of grace and righteousness. YOU CAN NOT HAVE ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER! The number one reason is found in Galatians 2:21. Everyone can quote verse 20 but few know verse 21;“[Therefore, I do not treat God's gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]”

If you can earn your righteousness by doing then Christ died needlessly. You can’t earn a blessing, an answer to prayer, a healing etc. All are amazing grace gifts to the one who knows they’ve been declared righteous and are set in a position in peace with God. This is the key behind Romans 5:17 and 21;“17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” “21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

ABUNDANCE OF GRACE + GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS = REIGN IN AND OVER LIFE!  So start ruling and reigning. I love you all very much!(NLM)
