The "BLESSING " of Abraham! Why was Abraham blessed?

Galatians 3 “13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Abraham believed the gospel!

Galatians 3 “8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.”

Yeah but we believe the gospel! Do we? Have we figured out what Abraham did? I hope so. ITS WHY HE WAS BLESSED!

Romans 4 Romans 4:1-4(Galatians 3:8)
“1[BUT] IF so, what shall we say about Abraham, our forefather humanly speaking—[what did he] find out? [How does this affect his position, and what was gained by him?] 2For if Abraham was justified (established as just by acquittal from guilt) by good works [that he did, then] he has grounds for boasting. But not before God! 3For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed in (trusted in) God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness (right living and right standing with God). [Gen. 15:6.] 4Now to a laborer, his wages are not counted as a favor or a gift, but as an obligation (something owed to him).
5But to one who, not working [by the Law], trusts (believes fully) in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (the standing acceptable to God). 6Thus David bcongratulates the man and pronounces a blessing on him to whom God credits righteousness apart from the works he does:”

He found out that "THE BLESSING" had nothing to do with "DOING" but had everything to do with "BELIEVING" for righteousness! Oh what revelation! Even David gloried in the day where our "WRONG DOING" would never be remembered by God! So stop trying to do and believe that you are!
